There are some who have such complete control over their thoughts they can essentially retreat from the world around them and enter what some call their ‘mind palace’ - a distinct reality built from memory and imagination. I’ve never achieved such mental mastery, but the two hours I spent with Rosela this week is what I imagine it must feel like. The moment we entered her apartment the world ceased to exist. There was only the two of us and one small, but stylish room. It is inadequate to say “she put me immediately at ease” because that implies an awareness of a process underway. What Rosela does is utterly imperceptible. She invisibly conjures the experience of reuniting with someone you’ve known for years after a long absence. As things organically flow into the physical, Rosela guides you to a new plane of intimacy. Her touch is sensual and comforting at the same time as she finds the perfect balance between anticipation and release, safety and excitement. Our time together felt like it existed outside the laws of physics: both a blissful eternity and the blink of an eye. But full truth is that words are inadequate - time with Rosela cannot be described, only experienced. And lest anyone read anything into the fact I have left any physical description to the end, let me say without equivocation: Rosela is stunning. Porcelain skin, eyes full of intensity and insight, and a smile that is both reassuring and inscrutable in the best possible way. In an uncertain, chaotic world booking a date with Rosela is as close to a guaranteed no-regret decision as there is.
